    The LDROBOT D800 (STL-27L) is a 360° Direct Time-of-Flight (DToF) LiDAR sensor built for autonomous robots, AGVs and SLAM navigation systems. It scans up to 25 metres in a full circle at 10Hz, streaming 21,600 laser samples per second to ROS1, ROS2, Raspberry Pi, NVIDIA Jetson and other embedded platforms for real-time mapping, localisation and obstacle avoidance.

    The D800 is a compact 2D laser scanning module that measures distance by timing the direct flight of a low-power infrared laser pulse (DToF ranging). As the internal coaxial brushless motor spins the optical head through a full 360° rotation, the sensor outputs a dense, real-time point cloud describing everything around it making it a popular choice for robot navigation sensor upgrades where longer range and outdoor performance are required. Because it is FDA Class 1 certified, the laser is safe for use around people and pets in warehouses, offices and public spaces.
